US Press Secretery Confirms Rumours About Drone Activity Last Year

Remember the strange drones that lit up the night skies across New Jersey and nearby states late last year?

Speculation ran wild, with theories ranging from espionage to extraterrestrial visits.

But the White House has now put those rumors to rest: the drones were federally authorized and harmless.

Trump’s Press Secretary Confirmed

President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, addressed the buzz during her first briefing, explaining that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had approved the drones for research.

“This was not the enemy,” Leavitt said, emphasizing that some drones also belonged to local hobbyists.

FBI Received 5,000 Tips

The sightings, which spanned November and December, sparked over 5,000 tips to the FBI from concerned citizens.

States like New York even highlighted their drone-detection tech to reassure residents.

Federal agencies investigated and concluded that the phenomenon was a mix of legal drones, manned aircraft, and even misidentified stars.

The Biden administration declared at the time that there was no foreign plot behind the drones.
