What Did Putin Say?
Speaking at his year-end press conference, the Russian leader admitted uncertainty about when such a meeting might happen.
“I haven’t spoken to him in over four years. He isn’t saying anything about it. But I’m ready, any time,” Putin remarked.
He added, “If we ever meet, I’m sure we’ll have plenty to discuss,” he said.
Trump Sees Little Progress in Peace Talks
