“I am ready for it”, Putin Says He is Ready For Talks With Trump

After years of harsh rhetoric against the United States, Russian President Vladamir Putin is extending the hand of friendship to the new Trump-led administration.

Putin has signaled his readiness to meet US president-elect Donald Trump “any time”

The remarks came after Donald Trump’s controversial remarks last month that peace was more important than territory.

What Did Putin Say?

Speaking at his year-end press conference, the Russian leader admitted uncertainty about when such a meeting might happen.

“I haven’t spoken to him in over four years. He isn’t saying anything about it. But I’m ready, any time,” Putin remarked.

He added, “If we ever meet, I’m sure we’ll have plenty to discuss,” he said.

Putin says he’s ‘ready’ for potential talks with Trump.
