A twin-engine plane caused chaos on a Texas highway Wednesday when it crashed and split in half.
The scattered debris injured four people and they were immediately dispatched to a nearby hospital.
The Piper PA-31 went down on State Highway Loop 463 in Victoria around 3 p.m., striking three cars in the process.
Videos Captured The Alarming Incident
Social media videos captured the moment the plane flew alarmingly low before skidding to a stop on the road.
Authorities confirmed that three of the injured had non-life-threatening wounds, while a fourth person required more advanced medical care.
“We’re relieved it wasn’t worse,” said Deputy Police Chief Eline Moya.
“This is not something we deal with every day, but we’re glad people are getting checked out and seem to be okay.”
The Federal Aviation Administration didn’t release information about the condition of the pilot, the BBC said.
