Musk Ordered To Attend Court For Giving $1 Million Giveaways To Voters

A Philadelphia court has ordered Elon Musk to appear giving away $1 million targeting registered voters in swing states.

Prosecutors, led by Philadelphia District Attorney Lawrence Krasner, argue that Musk’s initiative to give money to registered voters violates the electoral laws of the country.

Elon Musk’s campaign has been organized through his political group America PAC and is focused on attracting voters in key swing states.

What Are Elon Musk’s Giveaways About?

The controversy centers on the America PAC giveaway, which offers $1 million daily to selected voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and others.

Musk’s PAC requires participants to submit personal information and sign a pledge supporting the U.S. Constitution.

Krasner’s lawsuit claims the campaign operates as an “illegal lottery” and uses misleading statements that could create confusion among participants.

Other legal experts are confused if the PAC really violates the electoral laws since Musk is not paying money for political allegiance.
