Singer Loomis has issued a heartfelt apology after a live mishap during her performance for the US national anthem.
The event took place in “the Star-Spangled Banner,” at an independent candidate debate.
The event, which aired on C-SPAN quickly gained attention after Loomis faltered during the song, swearing and asking to “go back” mid-performance without knowing it was live.
Loomis Apologized
Loomis explained on social media that she made a mistake and talked about her past mishaps.
In an Instagram video posted on Saturday, Loomis expressed her regret, saying, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to mess up the national anthem.”
She added, “This has been something I’ve been scared of since I was a little girl… I was scared I was gonna fail, and then I did, and the world’s seen it.”
She also made apologies to the Free and Equal Elections for messing up the entire debate.
