Three Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna have been abruptly canceled due to a potential terrorist threat posed by ISIS.
Police have arrested two suspects who confessed to exploding themselves and killing as many people as possible during the concert in Austria’s capital.
The authorities are currently investigating the materials they found in one of the suspect’s houses.
Hundreds & Thousands Expected
Taylor Swift’s performances were scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium and expected to draw 65,000 fans per day.
Concert organizers expressed regret and said they had no choice but to cancel it as thousands of lives were at risk.
Tragedy Prevented
Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer told reporters that a tragedy was prevented, thanks to the timely action of the security forces.
Karl said the situation was serious at the moment and the disappointment to fans was worth it as security forces prevented a devastating incident from occurring.
