A 24-seater long world’s biggest rowing boat will be carrying the Olympic torch in this year’s Olympic Games in France.
Although the rowing boat known as the Stampfli Express will not participate in the official games, it will only be part of the Paris 2024 Olympic torch relay on Sunday, the BBC said.
World’s Longest Rowing Boat
The Stampfli Express, with the capacity to accommodate 24 people, is specifically manufactured by Stampfli Racing Boats for such big occasions.
Usually, a rowing boat has around eight people but the world’s biggest one can accommodate 24 people.
The boat moves like a snake as it is made up from six different parts, a representative of Stampfli Racing Boats told Reuters.
There is a possibility of the boat to break if the rowers didn’t manage to maintain its stability, he said.
