An armed shooter shot several bullets that got past the former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania.
The Secret Service managed to neutralize the suspect who was identified as a 20-year-old teen armed with an AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle.
Mr. Trump was immediately rushed to a local hospital and has been released hours after.
Suspect Was Shot Dead
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect named Thomas Matthew Crooks was shot dead by the Secret Service after he fired several shots.
Video footage showed the suspect crawling on the rooftop, around 140 meters away from the rally stage.
The Trump campaign said that one more Republican supporter tragically died during the shooting.
Trump Released From Hospital
According to Bloomberg, Mr. Trump was released from the hospital where he was being treated for his ear injury.
Experts have started blaming the Secret Service for failing to protect the former President.
