US Soldier Livestreams Setting Himself on Fire in Washington DC

An active duty US Air Force member set himself on fire outside an Israeli embassy in Washington to protest Israel’s conduct in Gaza.

Aaron Bushnell, 25, also live-streamed himself, pouring a bottle of gasoline over himself to protest what he called “genocide.”

US Air Force Confirms

The US Air Force has confirmed the involvement of one of its airmen in the incident named Aaron Bushnell.

US media reports suggest that Mr. Bushnell set himself on fire, declaring that he “will no longer be complicit in genocide.”

The live stream has since been removed from Twitch while the police are investigating the incident.

Bushnell’s Health is Critical

The Associated Press reported that Bushnell’s health is critical at the moment.

An anonymous source told the AP that the details related to the incident will be released upon the completion of the investigation.

The Biden administration has come under increasing pressure from the International community to call for an immediate ceasefire recently.
