A panel of AI powered robots told the audience at a UN summit that they can run the world better than humans. The conference named ‘AI for Good’ was held at Geneva where AI-powered humanoid robots told the audience that they were better equipped to run the world.
Humans & Robots Synergy
Some robots disagreed with the AI being a threat to humans during the UN’s International Telecommunication Union (ITU) conference. Sophia, a humanoid robot developed by Hanson Robotics, argued that humans and robots can work jointly towards a better future. “The human and AI working together can create an effective synergy”, Sophia said.
Robot Trust ‘Earned, Not Given’
The robots also talked about employing robots to government positions as it could guarantee more efficiency in decision making. When asked about whether humans can trust machines, a robot named Ameca said “Trust is earned, not given”.
