Multiple suspects opened fire amid Father’s Day celebrations in the Roseland neighborhood, Chicago. According to police, the suspects were driving a gray Honda sedan when they opened fire on people who were celebrating with their families.
Father’s Day Turned Bloody
The shooting took place at a time when families in the neighborhood were celebrating father’s day. Father’s day celebrations are key to the neighborhoods as the tradition goes back decades in history. The gathering and parties turned bloody when unknown men opened fire killing two and injuring three others.
Suspect on The Loose
Chicago police said in the press conference that the suspects were still on the loose and the police were doing everything to arrest them. “It’s unfortunate that this occurred because today was a fine day,” Chicago Police Commander Tyrone Pendarvis said.
