Russian Luna-25 Spacecraft Enters Moon Orbit

Russian space craft has entered the lunar orbit and set to become the first Russian spacecraft in 50 years to reach moon. The Luna-25 is expected to land on the moon’s southern pole to investigate frozen water. No country on earth has achieved the milestone for landing on the southern side ever.

Leaking Russian Spacecraft Returns Back To Earth

A damaged Russian spacecraft returned back to earth after reporting a slight leak at the International Space Station months ago. In February, A tiny meteorite punctured the outer surface of Russian Soyuz MS-22, causing it to be less than one millimeter in diameter.

Russia Sending Rocket To Rescue Crew From Space Station

Russia’s space agency announced that it is considering sending an empty spacecraft to the International Space Station in order to rescue 3 Cosmonauts from the International Space Station. The Soyuz spacecraft was reported to have a coolant leak in December last year caused by a meteorite hit.

US And Russia Agrees To Swap Seats On ISS Flights

The US may have imposed economic sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine, but in space, the two countries are finding ways to continue working together. NASA and Roscosmos have signed a long-awaited agreement to swap seats on flights to the International Space Station. The agreement will ensure that both the US- and the Russian-operated segments of the station will never be unmanned in case of canceled flights or other emergencies.
