California is preparing for potentially “life-threatening” rains and floods this weekend. Rainfall estimates range from 3 to 6 inches, reaching 6 to 12 inches in mountains and foothills.

Four people were killed and many injured after deadly tornadoes ripped through parts of northern Texas and Florida. The intense tornadoes hit Texas Panhandle town of Perryton and Pensacola town of Florida with life-threatening flash floods and heavy rains.

Tornadoes devastated at least 50 homes and toppled trees in several parts of Texas on Friday. Several parts of Oklahoma also came under the wrath of Tornadoes after 4 pm. According to the latest reports more than dozens of people were injured and one dead in Oklahoma.
