Telegram Founder Durov Pledges Estate To All 100+ Children

Telegram founder Pavel Durov says all his 100+ children will receive share of his estate.

What happens when a billionaire tech mogul has over 100 children?

According to Telegram founder Pavel Durov — they all get a piece of the pie.

In a candid interview with Le Point, Durov, 40, revealed that he’s splitting his fortune equally between his six children from relationships.

He’s also splitting it equally between the dozens more he’s fathered through sperm donation.

“They are all my children and will all have the same rights,” he said, explaining he didn’t want inheritance battles after his death.

What’s The Reason?

A doctor once told him it was his “civic duty” because of his “high-quality donor material.”

Something Durov apparently took to heart over 15 years.

With an estimated $13.9 billion fortune — mostly thanks to early Bitcoin investments, not Telegram — Durov has made sure his heirs won’t be spoiled.

They’ll have to wait 30 years before touching any inheritance.

“I want them to build themselves up alone,” he explained.

Why make a will now? Running Telegram, a platform known for privacy and controversy, has its risks.

“Defending freedoms earns you many enemies,” he said.

As for those legal troubles in France?

Durov calls them “absurd,” insisting Telegram can’t be blamed for criminals using the app.

Billionaire. Rebel. Father to a hundred. Pavel Durov’s life is anything but ordinary.
