A 54-year-old undocumented immigrant, Ramon Morales-Reyes, is in ICE custody.
He sent a letter vowing to assassinate former President Donald Trump.
His note, scribbled in blue ink, declared he’d “shoot your precious president in is [sic] head” and then self-deport to Mexico.

It ended with a chilling line: “I will see him at one of his big rallies.”
Authorities say they received the letter on May 21 and arrested Morales-Reyes the very next day.
What’s His Record?
Nine illegal entry attempts between 1998 and 2005 and a felony hit-and-run conviction.
“This illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump is behind bars,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, thanking ICE officers.
Experts say the threHis letter expressed rage over Trump’s immigration policies.
“You have been deporting my family… we are tired of this president messing with us Mexicans.”at underscores rising political tensions.

Noem even referenced a 2023 attempted assassination.
She also mentioned a cryptic beach post by former FBI Director James Comey.
It was interpreted by some as threatening—an accusation Comey denies.
Noem’s warning? “All politicians and members of the media should take notice… and tone down their rhetoric.”
