Garmin, the popular smartwatch brand, is in hot water after a major issue left customers worldwide with malfunctioning devices.
Users are reporting frustrating glitches, with some watches showing a blue triangle upon startup and others getting stuck on the loading screen.
High-end models like the Fenix 8, which costs just under $1,200, are among the affected devices, though not every Garmin watch is experiencing this problem.
Garmin Acknowledges The Issue
The company has acknowledged the issue and suggested a temporary fix — reset your device and reconnect it to the Garmin app.
But for some, that hasn’t worked. Garmin’s advice to factory reset the watch hasn’t been a cure-all, and customers are voicing their frustration online.
“Their instructions don’t fix it and Garmin are silent,” one angry user posted on X.
Others are disappointed with the lack of communication on social media, especially since the company hasn’t revealed what’s causing the issue.
