Ukraine Carries Out Biggest Aerial Attack on Russia For First Time

In a dramatic escalation, Ukraine unleashed its most extensive aerial assault on Russian territory since the war began nearly three years ago.

The strikes hit military facilities, energy hubs deep inside Russia and forced school closures and disrupted air travel across multiple regions.

Russia Says Kyiv Used US-Made Missiles

Moscow claims Kyiv used U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles and British Storm Shadow cruise missiles in the attack.

If the accusation is confirmed, this could further inflame tensions between Russia and the West as Moscow vowed to retaliate.

The Russian military warned that the assault “will not go unanswered.”

Missiles Hit 1,100 KM Deep Inside Russia

Ukraine’s military boasted that its forces struck targets up to 1,100 kilometers inside Russian territory.

Regions targeted included Bryansk, Saratov, and Tula, as well as Tatarstan.

Meanwhile, Russia’s defense ministry says it intercepted several missiles but acknowledged damage.
