The famous Albuquerque home that served as Walter White’s residence in Breaking Bad is up for sale.
The price is jaw-dropping $3.995 million. Located at 3828 Piermont Drive Northeast, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom.
The house also has a backyard pool and spans over 1,910 square feet.
Why is It So Expensive?
While the median home price in Albuquerque sits at $350,000, this piece of TV history commands over $2,000 per square foot.
Joanne Padilla, who grew up in the house, moved back four years ago but has now decided to sell after her parents’ passing.
“It’s an icon,” she told The New York Times.
“Whoever buys it can say they own an iconic home, but for us, it has no meaning anymore.”
Real estate agent David Christensen believes the hefty price tag reflects its cultural significance.
The house could become an Airbnb or even a museum, attracting Breaking Bad superfans worldwide but the Times didn’t say anything about any potential buyer.
