A chilling revelation has emerged from Canada as a convicted killer admitted he once placed a $71,400 hit on a crime reporter.
Frédérick Silva, serving life in prison for multiple murders, confessed to offering the contract to kill Daniel Renaud, a journalist at La Presse who had been covering Silva’s 2021 trial.

Serial Killers Didn’t Do It
While awaiting trial, he approached two organized crime figures about taking out Renaud.
Surprisingly, they hesitated, warning it was a bad idea to target a journalist.
The hit order lingered for two months before Silva abandoned it, claiming he had “more important issues to deal with.”

Reporter Shaken
The revelation has left Renaud shaken who couldn’t believe he was the prime target of the assassination.
“I exercise caution in my reporting to avoid endangering lives. I never imagined I’d become a target,” he shared.
