The former President Donald Trump has rejected a second debate offer by the Vice President Kamala Harris on 23 October, saying it was already too late.
Donald Trump told a rally in North Carolina that Harris was insisting on another debate because she is losing.
Kamala Harris on the other hand has accepted an invitation from the CNN to participate in another debate with Mr. Trump with the same format and rules as he debated Joe Biden.
Already Too Late
While addressing a crowd in Wilmington, North Carolina, Trump said he was not interested in another debate because he already had enough.
“She’s done one debate, I’ve done two. It’s too late to do another, I’d love to in many ways but it’s too late”.
By late, the former President was referring to voting that had already begun in Minnesota, South Dakota and Virginia.
The Trump campaign told journalists that the Republican nominee will not debate Harris because he already won the previous debate.
