The former President Donald Trump has declined to hold a debate rematch with the Democratic nominee Kamala Harris after repeated offers.
Instead of agreeing to another debate, Mr. Trump urged Harris to focus on her job as the Vice President of the country.
The debate held in Philadelphia two days ago was a disaster for Trump who was taken off-guard throughout the entire debate.
No More Debates
“Because we’ve done two debates and because they were successful, there will be no third debate”, Donald Trump remarked during a campaign speech in Arizona yesterday.
Mr. Trump reiterated the previous claim that he won the debate with Harris despite polls showing Kamala Harris as a clear winner.
Polls conducted by Reuters/Ipsos showed 54% of registered voters saying Harris was a clear winner while only 24% favored Donald Trump.
According to a CNN flash poll released shortly after the debate, debate watchers clearly favored Harris for outperforming Trump.
