The campaigns of both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have agreed to hold their first presidential debate on 10 September.
The ABS News confirmed that it will be hosting the debate after Trump finally agreed to “do three debates”.
The news came after days of confusion whether or not the former President would debate the newly nominated democratic nominee.
Harris Agreed To Multiple Debates
Kamala Harris, who confirmed her participation while speaking at an event in Michigan, also indicated she would be open to additional debates.
Trump has also suggested holding debates on Fox News and NBC on September 4 and 25, respectively, according to the BBC.
Debate Moderators
The debate will be moderated by David Muir, anchor and managing editor of “World News Tonight,” and Linsey Davis, anchor of “ABC News Live Prime.”
The network did not provide further details about the debate’s format or topics and regulatory measures regarding the audience.
