Crowd Storms Palace

The jubilant crowd was seen storming the Prime Minister palace in the capital city of Dhaka.

Why Are People Protesting in Bangladesh?

The protests began in June after the High Court reinstated special seats for 1971 war veterans.

The decision caused widespread unrest in the country causing severe clashes and 150 people being killed after security forces resorted to using force.
