At least one man was killed when a drone attack wreaked havoc in the Israeli capital city of Tel Aviv.
This is the first attack of such a nature that an Israeli city has come under direct assault from Yemen.
The media reports couldn’t confirm how the drone managed not to be intercepted by allied countries with US air defense systems in place.
Several Injured
According to local media reports from Tel Aviv, one man was killed and eight were injured when an Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hit Israel.
The drone was modified to fly a much longer distance, at least 1,000 miles in this case.
Escalation
The attack, which the Israeli defense forces suggest originated from Yemen, will add a new chapter to Israel’s war against Hamas.
The IDF said the drone was intercepted earlier but it was not shot down due to human error, without explaining what they meant.
