Elon Musk has recently welcomed his 12th child, this time with Shivon Zilis, the director of special projects at Neuralink Corp.
Musk confirmed the news to Page Six, addressing speculation about the secrecy surrounding the birth.
In response to claims that the child was “secretly fathered,” Musk clarified, “All our friends and family know.”
Musk Now Has 12th Child
With the new addition, Musk’s family now includes 12 children from three different mothers.
His first child, Nevada Alexander, was born in 2002 with his first wife, Justine Wilson, but tragically died at ten weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Wilson later had twins, Jenna and Griffin, in 2004 through IVF, followed by triplets, Kai, Saxon, and Damian, in 2006.
In May 2020, Musk had a son named X Æ A-Xii with musician Grimes. In November 2021, Musk and Zilis welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, in a private birth.
Additionally, Grimes revealed in a 2022 Vanity Fair interview that she and Musk had a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, via surrogacy in December 2021.
