A motorist had died after driving his vehicle at high speed and crashed into White House gate.
This is the second incident of such kind involving a motorist crashing into the gate of House White since January.
The U.S. Secret Service spokesperson said they have initiated an investigation into the incident and there was “no threat” to the White House.
No one was injured in the incident and the spokesperson declared the area safe for public safety.
Car Crash At White House
The Washington Metropolitan Police Department labeled the incident as a “car crash” but further investigation will reveal details.
When the car crashed into the gate, the officers of the Secret Service rushed to provide aid to the driver who died upon their arrival on the scene, according to news reports.
In January, authorities arrested a driver who crashed a car into an exterior gate of the White House.
The driver was released after the authorities learned that he was experiencing mental health issues.
