The Biden administration has secretly approved military aid worth billions of dollars amid increasing discontent among the American public about the war.
According to anonymous sources the Washington Post talked to, the new package includes hundreds of fighter jet bombs and 25 fighter jets.
What is The Package?
As per the media reports, the new package includes 1,800 MK-84 2,000lb bombs, 500 MK-82 500lb bombs and 25 F-35A fighter jets and engines.
The planes and engines are estimated to be worth around $2.5 billion, unanimous US officials told the Washington Post.
The delivery of arms comes as Israeli officials prepare to take down the last Palestinian city of Rafah, where more than 1.5 million people have taken shelter.
