US Supreme Court Hearing If Trump Can Run For 2024 Presidency

The US Supreme Court will hear arguments about whether Donald Trump is eligible to run for the 2024 Presidency.

The high-stakes case is the first of its kind in American history and will drag the highest court to the center of the 2024 election.

The 14th Amendment

The case revolves around whether Section 3 of the 14th Amendment applies to the former President because of his assault on Capitol Hill.

Section 3 of the amendment dictates that any member of Congress or officer of the US who engages in insurrection cannot hold a public office.

14th Amendment Never Used Before

The amendment, which was intact after the Civil War, has never been used to bar anyone from holding a public office before.

Donald Trump has already been indicted in a number of cases, but a negative outcome of the court’s decision will put an end to his presidential candidature.
