Russian President Vladmir Putin criticized Canada in a very harsh tone for inviting a Nazi.
Putin said it was disgusting for Canada to invite a Nazi who was responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Jews in the second world war.
He blamed the house speaker and called him an idiot for doing so.
Canada Invited Nazi
The Canadian parliament accidentally invited a former Nazi soldier to the house on the 2nd of September.
The move was an embarrassment for the house speaker who later apologized for what he did.
The Nazi soldier named Yaroslav Hunka was hailed as a Canadian and Ukrainian hero for fighting against the soviets.
Canada Says Russia is Weaponizing Mistake
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Russia is weaponizing Canada’s mistake.
She told reporters that people must push back hard against the Russian President’s propaganda.
“I would urge all of us to understand that Russian propaganda is real,” she said.
