The Palm Beach County police recovered a dead body floating in the canal. Local rescue organizations rushed to the area after they received reports from a boater about a body floating over the canal which they later recovered.
Dead Body Found Floating
The police received information on Sunday that a body, reportedly dead, was floating in a canal near West Palm Beach. The police responded immediately along with members of the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and brought the body to shore. The police said they sent the body to the medical examiner’s office where the cause of death will be determined.
Identity Unknown
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the deceased man has not been identified. The police officials told the local media that the identification is pending while they wait for the autopsy report. Local residents have been urged to come forward if they have any information about the whereabouts of the dead man.
