The Turkish opposition party has accused Russia of interference in the electoral process ahead of the election day. Turkey’s main opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu has claimed to have enough evidence to prove that the Kremlin is interfering in the Turkish elections to manipulate the results in the favor of the government.
Foreign Hackers Using Deep Fakes
Kemal Kilicdaroglu, a strong opposition leader to the incumbent government, claimed that Erdogan has recruited foreign hackers to create deep fake videos and sound bites to manipulate public perception. Kilicdaroglu’s party told the Reuters that his party has evidence that the Russians are currently interfering in the Turkish elections.
