A gunman opened fire in a busy Texas shopping mall, killing nine and injuring at least seven. Shopping mall located north of the city of Dallas, was filled with people when a gunman opened fire after coming out of his vehicle.
People Ran Away Immediately
As soon as the first shots were fired, people immediately ran for cover. Eyewitnesses explained how the suspect opened fire on civilians who were outside the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Allen. “We started running. Kids were getting trampled,” 16-year-old employee, Maxwell Gum said.
Police Acted on Time
An unknown police officer acted as soon as he heard the first shots and engaged the suspect. He fatally shot the shooter and called for ambulances, Brian Harvey, the police chief of Allen said. The suspect was armed with an AR-15 style rifle and wearing combat gear, eyewitnesses told reporters.
