Multiple people are reported to have died after two US army Blackhawk helicopters crashed in Kentucky. According to the US army spokesperson, the incident involved two HH60 Blackhawk helicopters that crashed during a training mission over the US state of Kentucky.
Multiple Feared Dead
Although the numbers couldn’t have been confirmed, many suspect that the fatalities could be higher. The US military has not yet disclosed how many crewmembers were on board, as the army personnel were busy caring for the family members of those that died in the crash. The civilian death is highly unlikely as the area where the helicopters crashed is unpopulated.
Investigation Is Underway
The authorities said that the matter is currently under investigation and the details will be made public one available. According to the US military, the two helicopters were part of the 101st Airborne Division, an infantry division that specializes in air assault operations.
