The era of Internet Explorer is finally coming to an end. Although the internet explorer was replaced with Microsoft Edge, it wasn’t completely removed from windows 10 until now. The users will not be able to access Internet Explorer desktop app anymore.
Microsoft Edge Update
With the Software giant’s latest update for Microsoft Edge, the internet explorer will die forever. Although the underlying technology of the Internet Explorer will continue to function as it is, users will not be able to launch Internet Explorer 11 on most versions of Windows 10. The closure was not due to Windows update but rather because of an update of Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft Urges Caution
Microsoft also urged the organizations dependent on the Internet Explorer to avoid “business disruption”. The statement said that Microsoft intends to provide a smoother and better experience with the new Microsoft edge update.
