After bombing the positions of Kurdish terrorist groups for days, Turkey has officially declared that it’s going to intervene in Syria and Iraq. Turkey has been blaming the Kurdish terrorist groups for carrying out a bomb explosion in central Istanbul that killed 6 and injured more than 80.
Operation Claw Sword
Turkish Air force initiated ‘Operation Claw Sword’ targeting the positions of Kurdish militant groups. The Air raids started on 20 November, a week after the Istanbul bombing on Istiqlal avenue. “Terrorists’ shelters, bunkers, caves, tunnels, and warehouses were successfully destroyed,” the Defence Minister of Turkey said. Turkey claimed to have killed more than 180 terrorists and destroyed other 89 targets.
