The classified documents confiscated by the FBI in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, include sensitive information about Iran’s missile program and intelligence efforts aimed at China, reports the Washington Post.
This information is particularly sensitive because if leaked, it could give foreign governments insights into the personnel, capabilities and methods of United States intelligence agencies.
It could also inform foreign governments about secret operations the United States has conducted without their knowledge.
The findings come while Trump is under investigation by the Justice Department for attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Trump denies any allegations in regards to the documents at his residency, stating he has declassified them.
