Drinking Coffee Regularly Can Decrease The Risk Of Heart Diseases

A new study shows how drinking regular coffee a day can significantly decrease the risk of heart disease. It suggests drinking 2-3 cups daily to obtain healthy outcomes. The study was published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology which is an official journal of the European Society of Cardiology focusing on public health disciplines including causes and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. 

Coffee And A Healthy Heart

The objective the researchers had before initiating the study was how consuming coffee affects the health of the heart of an individual. Researchers concluded that those who consume 2-3 cups of coffee a day have a lower risk of heart disease. Those who consumed Ground coffee showed the greatest reduction of 27% as compared to those who didn’t consume coffee. Instant coffee showed only an 11% reduction.

 Why Is It The Case With Coffee?

Does one wonder what constituents make the coffee so important? Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee, who was not a part of the study, reveals interesting facts about coffee. “It is possible that some of the non-caffeinated compounds may be responsible for the benefits observed with coffee drinking,’’ He mentioned.
