(Dallas, TX) : Award-winning author of the book “Dhando Investor” & serial investor Mohnish Pabrai gets praised by The Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffett for his philanthropy initiative Dakshana.
Dakshana helps bright and impoverished students predominantly from rural India to prepare for IIT and medical entrance exams.
Pabrai on Thursday shared a tweet of a letter sent by Buffett praising him for his philanthropic work to help educate the underprivileged in Rural India.
In July 2007, Pabrai and his best friend Guy Spier, a Zurich-based hedge fund manager, won a charity auction for a ‘power lunch’ with Buffett. For the two disciples, their $650,100 bid for the lunch was nothing but a ‘Guru Dakshina’.
