Colombia is facing a major rescue operation after one of its strongest earthquakes in years killed at least 132 people and left hundreds injured.
The magnitude 7.4 quake struck early Monday in Chocó province at a depth of about 103km.
It sent powerful tremors across western Colombia and into neighbouring countries.
The worst damage was reported in Pereira, where at least 40 people died and dozens of buildings collapsed.
Rescue teams were searching 15 damaged structures where people were feared trapped.
Cali also reported 32 collapsed buildings, while deaths were recorded in several other cities.

Quake Triggers National Disaster
London traveller Dan Cutler said he and his partner were jolted awake in Cali and “sprinted outside in our pyjamas”.
In Manizales, resident Angélica Ávila described people screaming as dust poured from buildings and bricks crashed down.
Authorities have declared a national disaster, with more than 1,500 homes damaged and special powers activated to coordinate the response.
The quake was felt by an estimated 1.5 million people, according to the US Geological Survey.
Although its deep origin may make it less dangerous than a shallow quake, experts warn it can still cause severe structural damage.
As rescue crews dig through the rubble, Colombia now faces a race against time and the death toll may yet rise.
