FBI Seizes $40 Million Worth Of Motorcycles From Olympic Snowboarder

Motorcycles worth $40m seized from FBI most-wanted Olympic snowboarder.

From Olympic slopes to alleged drug empires—how did it come to this?

Mexican authorities have seized motorcycles worth an eye-watering $40m.

The motorcycles were seized from properties linked to Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder.

He is now accused of running one of North America’s biggest drug trafficking operations. Yes, that Ryan Wedding.

The haul followed a series of raids across Mexico City and nearby areas.

The raids were carried out with help from the FBI, Canadian police, and Los Angeles authorities.

The stash? Sixty-two motorcycles, many believed to be rare, high-end Ducati racing models.

“This was not a casual collection,” one law enforcement source noted, pointing to the scale and value of the seizure.

Luxury Assets Seized

And the bikes weren’t the only luxury items. Officials also confiscated drugs, artwork, expensive paintings—and even two Olympic gold medals.

Whose medals they are remains unclear. Wedding himself competed at the 2002 Winter Olympics but finished well off the podium.

Last month, agents also seized a $13m Mercedes hypercar allegedly tied to Wedding, who investigators believe is living under cartel protection.

Now on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, Wedding carries a $15m reward for his capture.

Authorities accuse him of ordering murders worldwide and running a sprawling criminal network.

From athlete to fugitive kingpin—proof that not every fall happens on snow.
