Scientists Discover New Interstellar Object Racing Through Solar System

‘Third visitor from stars’ hurtling towards Sun.

Could we be witnessing another cosmic guest from deep space? Astronomers think so.

A mysterious object, dubbed A11pl3Z, is streaking through our Solar System at a blazing 60 km per second.

It may be only the third known interstellar visitor we’ve ever spotted.

According to the European Space Agency’s Richard Moissl, the object poses no threat to Earth.

“It will fly deep through the Solar System, passing just inside the orbit of Mars,” he said.

What’s Fascinating?

But what’s truly fascinating is that its high speed and trajectory suggest it’s not from around here.

“It’s not orbiting our star, but coming from interstellar space and flying off to there again,” Moissl added.

Official confirmation is still pending, but excitement is building.

Past objects like 2017’s ʻOumuamua and 2019’s 2I/Borisov sparked intense curiosity—and some wild alien theories.

This newcomer is faster and potentially even rarer.

As astronomer Mark Norris explains, these objects are “a rare chance to study something outside our Solar System.”

And if we ever detect building blocks of life on one of them?

Well, that might just change everything we think we know about life beyond Earth.
