Ukraine Launches Massive Drone Attack, Destroys Dozens Of Russian Bombers

Ukraine drones strike bombers during major attack in Russia.

In what Ukraine is calling its biggest long-range strike of the war, 117 drones were unleashed in a bold, covert operation.

The attack reportedly hit four Russian airbases and damaged dozens of strategic warplanes.

The SBU, Ukraine’s security service, said the year-and-a-half-long “Spider’s Web” mission targeted 34% of Russia’s cruise missile carriers.

So how did they pull it off?

According to sources, the drones were smuggled into Russia hidden inside mobile wooden cabins.

The roofs opened remotely.

When the time came, they launched straight from trucks parked near airbases.

“Each drone had its own pilot,” said President Zelensky, who praised the SBU’s “brilliant” execution.

The attack, he added, was staged right under the nose of Russia’s powerful FSB.

What’s Russia’s Response?

Russia confirmed drone attacks in five regions but called them a “terrorist act,” claiming air defenses repelled most strikes.

Still, even Moscow admitted some aircraft caught fire.

Meanwhile, Ukraine endured its own barrage—472 drones and seven missiles.

Kharkiv was hit and dozens of Ukrainian soldiers were killed in a separate strike.

Peace talks resume in Turkey, but hopes are thin.
