SpaceX Launches 1,000th Starlink Satellite Of The Year In Friday Mission

SpaceX launches 1,000th Starlink satellite of the year during Friday morning mission.

SpaceX lit up the California sky early Friday with yet another Starlink launch.

This time, sending 26 satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The mission, dubbed Starlink 15-5, lifted off at exactly 6:43 a.m. local time.

And with this batch? SpaceX has officially launched over 1,000 Starlink satellites in 2025 alone.

The Falcon 9 booster pulling the weight—B1093—had already flown once before, just 39 days earlier.

It nailed its second landing on the trusty Pacific drone ship Of Course I Still Love You.

What Happened?

It marked the 130th touchdown on that vessel and the 448th booster landing overall.

Reusability is no longer a theory—it’s a routine.

Oh, and remember that wildfire near the base that scorched 27 acres?

Didn’t delay a thing. SpaceX cruised past the smoke like it was just morning fog.

Just over an hour post-launch, SpaceX confirmed successful satellite deployment.

Another day, another step toward global internet domination.

At this point, the only thing SpaceX seems to be competing with… is its own record. And maybe gravity.
