Trump Named Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year For Second Time

Donald Trump has been named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

The 78-year-old president-elect, who previously held the title in 2016 following his first White House win, continues to make waves.

Trump secured a historic second term last month, winning the popular vote and all seven swing states.

History Making

Time described Trump’s latest victory as “history-making,” and mentioned that he is the only person to do so despite facing many legal challenges.

The Time’s magazine noted that Mr. Trump’s survival from two assassination attempts during his political campaign made him unbeatable among other contenders.

Who Else Was On The List?

Other contenders included Kate, Princess of Wales, who has returned to public life after cancer treatment.

Tesla and SpaceX’s CEO, Elon Musk, also made it to the top 10 contenders.

Notable mentions on the shortlist included Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Yulia Navalnaya, and podcast giant Joe Rogan.
