South Korea Says North Korea Sent 1,500 Troops To Fight For Russia

The South Korean Spy agency has said that North Korea has sent 1,500 troops to Ukraine to fight for Russia.

The allegations come after years of suspicions that North Korea was sending weapons and ammunition to Russia to conduct its war in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President Vladamir Zelensky previously warned that North Korea has sent 10,000 troops to help Russia.

Soldiers Were Disguised As Russians

While the S. Korean spy agency clarified that the 1,500 troops have already arrived in Moscow, the numbers could be far greater.

According to secret sources, the “final figure could be closer to 12,000,” the BBC reported.

In a statement on its website, the agency claimed that Russian navy ships transferred 1,500 North Korean special operation forces between 8-13 October.

The soldiers were disguised as Russian troops with fake ID cards to hide their real identities, the website mentioned.
