How It Happened?

Danielle Davis, Rayce’s mother, said the incident happened late at night when she heard her son screaming out loud for help.

When she arrived she saw her son with severe burns around his necklace.

The mother immediately called 911 for an ambulance and Rayce was admitted to Integris Health Baptist Medical Center’s burns unit in Oklahoma.

Ms. Danielle told the media that her son’s necklace got in contact with the prongs from the plug in an extension cord when he leaned over to set an alarm for school tomorrow.

Ms. Danielle urged parents and teens to not leave extension cords near their loved ones, specially when they are asleep.
