100 Million COVID-19 Vaccines Administered in the U.S.

The United States of America has administrated more than 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. That is almost one-third of the population in about 3 months’ time.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released data stating that more than 37 million adults are now fully vaccinated. This means they have received both doses of the vaccine.

President Joe Biden set a goal to have vaccines available to all Americans by May 1st. With the new data released, his administration believes they are on track to meet that goal.

The US is doing about 2 million vaccinations a day. This includes all vaccines approved by the FDA for emergency use. The two-dose Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines and the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. So far the US has not administrated the Astra Zeneca vaccine that is being used in other parts of the world.
